Right now, Iām studying abroad in Europe through one of the top entrepreneurship programs in the world, the European Innovation Academy. Itās intense, fast-paced, and focused on building real solutions to real problems.
`As part of the program, we were supposed to form teams of five. But out of four hundred people, no one wanted to join my idea. I became the first entrepreneur in this programās history to go through the journey alone. And honestly, itās for a reason.
I was pushed to go out and talk to people. Not just observe or guess, but actually listen.
So I interviewed five Black gender nonconforming people. Each interview was supposed to be 30 minutes. Every single one went over an hour.
And by the end, they were thanking me. Not because I gave them anything, but because someone finally asked them what they go through. Someone finally wanted to hear what shopping feels like when nothing was made with you in mind.
What I heard over and over was that we want two things.
We want community. And we want a better shopping experience.
People are tired of having to mix, layer, pin, or adjust every single piece just to feel like themselves. Tired of walking into stores and being told through layout and sizing and language that they do not belong. Tired of brands being performative but not inclusive.
What they need is not just clothing. They need care. They need space. They need to feel seen.
That is what I am building. A space where we are not just included, but centered. A brand that reflects who we are without making us shrink, overconsume, or hide. A place where fashion feels like freedom.
This is not just about me designing clothes. This is about helping people who have felt just like me. People who are still trying to find themselves in an industry that keeps ignoring them.
I am excited for this journey because it feels honest. It feels needed. And it feels like something that could grow into more than just a brand. This could be a home.
If you have ever felt like fashion missed you on purpose, this is for you.
We are just getting started.
With love,
